Tornado Chase Video

No, this isn’t a video from Dorothy from our storm chase on Saturday May 22nd. But it is a pretty awesome video from a chaser who was in the area.  The timelapse video was actually shot from a camera on the roof of the car with a dome over it.  The camera is controlled via joy stick in the vehicle.  It is long but there is some AWESOME footage in there!  Enjoy!

Lake Poinsett Waves (video)

Here is some video sent to us by Laura Cox an SDSU Journalism student.  She shot this video on Saturday May 1st on Lake Pointsett.  The water is already extrememly high due to spring flooding and you can see the damage our 40 to 50 mph winds did over the weekend.  Typically, there is 10-12 feet of beach and a rock wall where this video was shot.  Thanks Laura for sending along the video!
