We have a very wet forecast for the weekend as a large storm system moves across KELOLAND. Here are the latest rainfall projections as of Friday morning.An area of 1-2" will be possible in the purple, with widepread .50-1" totals farther north. Aberdeen should bein line for around .50- to .75". We’ll monitor those trends through the day.A flood watch is also in effect for the Black Hills where heavy rainfall of 1-3" could fall through Saturday. Severe weather threats will be low, but some hail will be possible tonight in southeastern KELOLAND with any of the stronger storms.Stay tuned…

Heat Burst in Pierre

Here are the details on a heat burst that happened on March 30th near Pierre. Evidently a number of them occured that night as conditions were just right to support the strange weather occurance.
