Why are you hanging with people who get up at sunrise? There is absolutely nothing going on that early in the morning in modern society. All they've accomplished is making some other poor SOB get up even earlier to make THEM breakfast. Then they demand that civilized people join them in this terrorizing of the general populace with their pointless early morning ramblings. What comes to mind are stupid generals who demand that their men attack and die at dawn. Why not attack at noon? The men are all well rested and hyped on lots of black coffee...caffeine crazed fighting men who willing to kill and survive until Happy Hour! There is a reason there is no Happy Hour before dawn or at any time in the morning....That's because it's too early, and all that's going on is alot of fighting and dying. Next time, sleep in another hour or so....You're right, they're wrong. They should be learning from their mistakes.

I don't mean to focus on the bug thing....but, now that the earwigs have "left the building", the cicada killer wasps have moved in. Have you seen these things? They are nasty looking!! We have some in our yard and we have a nightly hunting & trapping expedition. The only way we've found to kill them for sure is to trap them or swat them. They are digger wasps and have nests in the ground (they look like huge ant hills). They go in their nests at night, so we set fruit jars over the holes. In the morning, we check our trap line to see how many we caught. We've gotten about a dozen so far this year. They come out about a week after the cicadas start singing for about 3 weeks, then they are gone until next year. I've heard that if you don't get a handle on these things, you'll end up with thousands of them! Which I believe is true (maybe a little overstated), but there is a house down the street from ours and they haven't done much if anything to control them and there were swarms of these things around their yard. You can look up their pictures & info on Widipedia if you're interested.
