I'm very fearful for your bus trip today. You showed a photo of Linda eating clam chowder with a nice glass of Sam Adams. This is fine. However, how many others on the trip gave into their church potluck urges and while in Boston consumed copious amounts of baked beans. Boston is the mother church for baked bean affectionidous. When you couple this dish with several glasses of beer, the result on the following day is horrendous. It may be sunny and clear outside, but you'll notice a peculiar haze inside the bus. Reactions will start with a simple fanning of the face, and will grow into gasping for breathable air, and then to seeing illusions such as multi-colored leaves. North eastern states funnel millions into Boston's baked bean advertising fund to help keep these tourism dollars flowing. Sandi and I hope everyone is have a gas!!

Sounds like a spectacular trip! When you get to NYC, make sure you get to St. Paul's Chapel just across the street from where the towers stood. This is a remarkably moving memorial to those whose lives were lost and the responders who came to help in the aftermath. Not only that, it's an incredible piece of history, being the oldest public building being in continuous use since 1766!

Love to you both.
