As long as we are “hitting on” the weather guys, I cringe everytime they go up or down the I-29 or along the I-90 corridor. I switch channels when I hear positive or negative lighting strike. What possible difference can a lighting strike make or mean to the average listener?

I still laugh when they talk about “rain events” and “snow events” on the Weather Channel. It must make them feel more important than just saying “it’s going to rain.”
