Just stumbled upon this Doug. Really enjoyed it, really resonated with me, as I have similar memories about Christmas when I was growing up in Sioux Falls. The annual return of Ray Loftesness and Holiday Inn was always eagerly awaited when I was litlle kid. KSOO, KISD, Transition on KELO-FM - Sioux Falls radio was extraordinary. And if I can only get some of my Aunt Ella's Krumkake again. Thanks again for writing this!
